If you’ve been looking to pick up another drama, there are two new ones out this week. The first is Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim, which airs on Mondays and Tuesdays and is available on Viki:
Teacher Kim, a famous, triple-board certified surgeon, used to work at one of South Korea’s top hospitals, but a tragedy caused him to give up his career and work instead at a small-town hospital. There he meets Kang Dong-joo, a young surgeon who grew up poor and now chases success, and Yoon Seo-jung, a devoted surgeon who does whatever she can to save people’s lives. As they work together, Teacher Kim will become a mentor Dong-joo and Seo-jung and help them find value in their lives and work.
The second drama is the Saturday/Sunday family drama, Father, I’ll Take Care of You:
Han Jung-eun’s elderly parents are thrilled to be finished raising their children after more than twenty years. All four of their daughters have gotten married and/or moved out of the home, which means their parents finally have a chance to enjoy being empty-nesters. Their dreams of an easy retirement are dashed when all four daughters, including cafe manager Jung-eun, return home at once. Despite the conflicts that ensue, the daughters (and parents) will have the chance to reforge their family bonds.
Will you be checking out either of these shows? My plate is full right now (or rather, I’m saving space for some other November shows).
